The Cultures and Community badge provides the opportunity to develop a foundational understanding and appreciation of cultures, encouraging effective communication that promotes community.
Learning Outcomes:
Demonstrate increased awareness and understanding of cultures and communities.
Develop the ability to question assumptions, analyze complex issues, and consider multiple perspectives.
Cultivate a sense of global responsibility and interconnectedness
Assignment and Assessment:
Students must participate in a minimum of two activities from the recommended list provided and approved by the Ivy College of Business Undergraduate Career Services office.
Submit a 1-pg comprehensive reflection for each activity to be evaluated by business career services professional and earning a passing score.
Duration and Modality:
The learner completes 5 online modules, each consisting of 2-3 activities. This is can be completed within 1 academic year with the option to roll over to the following academic year if not completed during specified timeline.

The Gerdin Leaders Academy (GLA) is a program aimed at increasing the involvement of early program, transfer and/or international students in the Ivy College of Business led and managed through the Ivy College of Business Career Services office.
The GLA program is structured around five key pillars: Diversity & Global Perspective, Ethics, Leadership, Service to Community, and Professional Development.
