Global Career Exploration for PhDs
This program is designed specifically for PhD students pursuing global careers within various disciplines. Participants will explore, identify, and evaluate different roles, the required competencies needed, and the types of projects and tasks involved. Upon completion, participants will have gained intentionality of specific roles, ensuring compatibility between their skills, strengths, and interests. This 8-week course has been adapted from materials of the Professional Development Hub Collections, which were developed with funding from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences and the National Science Foundation. The original series was developed at Scripps Research and contributed to the pd|hub Collections (https://www.pdhub.org/) by Ryan Wheeler.
